Regulations now available

6 December 2007

Regulations amending the Securities Markets Act 1988 are now available from the Ministry of Economic Development's website.

These Regulations were approved by the Cabinet and announced by the Minister on Monday 4 December 2007.

Amendments to the Act include replacing existing provisions relating to insider trading and substantial security holder disclosure. It also introduces new provisions relating to market manipulation and investment adviser disclosure.
